JSM Bead Coop offers introductory jewelry making classes anytime we are open.  No appointment is needed to learn beginning stringing (bracelet or necklace) or earring making.  There is no charge for the lesson; you will only pay for the materials you use.  Beadweaving & more advanced private lessons are scheduled by appointment.  Please contact Cheri to ask questions or arrange a lesson. Our current classes are listed to the left. The 1st Thursday of every month, we have a beginner level, low-cost class we call ABC's at Bead Coop. We also have an Open Beading Night every 3rd Thursday of the month!

ABC's at Bead Coop
JSM Bead Coop offers the ABC's (Affordable Basic Creations) at  Bead Coop each month.  ABC's will be held on the 1st Thursday of the month from 12:30 to 2pm or 5:30pm to 7pm.  Programs will include demonstrations, mini-classes, and other special events.  Some programs will be free; some will have a small kit fee.  We may require reservations when certain make-n-take projects are scheduled.  Details will be posted in the store and on our Twitter/Facebook pages.  Interested in learning a particular skill?  Suggest a program for ABC's night!
Open Beading Night
JSM Bead Coop offers a FREE open beading night each month. Open Beading Night will take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.  Bring a project you are working on ... or start something new!  Meet other beaders and chat about all things bead!  Get encouragement, advice, opinions, critiques, and compliments about your beadwork from other beaders!  Generally, the open beading night will be a social gathering of bead people.  Occasionally, a particular beading lesson will be offered.  This information will be available in the store and on our Twitter/Facebook pages.  No reservations required! All skill levels are welcome to attend ABC's at Bead Coop & Open Beading Night.  Visit us on our Twitter page for news about the store!  (details for ABC's at Bead Coop & Open Beading Night are posted on our Twitter/Facebook pages)
Getting Started!
We offer introductory level lessons for individuals and small groups* any time we are open.  (*Groups of 4 or less will be accommodated if space allows. Groups of more than 4 MUST schedule an appointment!)  During special events, space may not be available. There is no charge for the lesson; you pay only for the materials you use.  Introductory lessons include: beginning stringing, earring making, and elastic projects.  Each lesson takes at least one hour; no lessons will be started after 5:30 pm.  Groups should limit themselves to one type of lesson; otherwise, allow 1 hour for each type of lesson.  We offer numerous other classes, stitch instruction, and customized lessons; please make an appointment to meet with Cheri to view your options.

  We offer private classes and birthday parties for children (ages 6 & up).  (For children under 9, a parent/adult must remain on site during lesson.)
Ages 6 - 8:
Memory Wire Bracelet (1 hr.)
$6 per child; max. of 8 children.
Ages 9 - 12:
Beginner Bracelet (1 hr.)
$9 per child; max. of 8 children.
Teens & Adults
 We offer private classes and birthday parties for teens and adults.
Beginner Seed Bead Bracelet (1 hr.)
$9 per person; maximum of 8.
Beginner Fire Polish Bracelet (1 hr.)
$12 per person; maximum of 8.
Beginner Swarovski Bracelet (1 hr.)
$25 per person; maximum of 8.
General Information for All Classes:
Cost includes instruction and materials.  We prepare kits in various colors; beads will be similar but not the same!  Customization is available for an additional fee.  Other projects are available.  Please call to make a reservation; a minimum of 4 participants is required.  You may rent our classroom space for an additional hour for a fee of $25.  You may bring cake, ice cream, or snacks.  We do not provide utensils or refrigerator space.  You are responsible for clearing the room of food & drink trash.  For groups over 10 people: We can come to you!  Ask for more details!
